“A wide, wise, and warm presentation and evocation of the broad domains of complexity, life, mind, and emergence. Please do read this book. The world is better for it.”
—Stuart Kauffman, MacArthur Fellow, Fellow of Royal Society of Canada, author of The Origins of Order
Notes on Complexity, by Neil Theise, 2022
I read this book a few weeks ago, and it really is awfully good. And for those who know little about contemporary science it may come as quite a shocking breath of fresh air to see that there are actually rigorous, thoughtful people in the sciences who take seriously questions of mind and life usually left to “the humanities” (who have mostly reneged on their responsibilities to expand our visionary powers).
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ALSO ACCESSIBLE TO NORMAL PEOPLE!!

Neil is a member of my Zen community and I have the pleasure of hearing his Zen talks. He really has an amazing, expansive mind and heart. I add to the recommendation!
He is a very interesting ‘’individual’’(pun intended), just bought his book, i have a few to finish prior starting his, Imaginal Love being one. ✌🏻☯️
